🇫🇮 The investor Breakfast at SLUSH

Over 150 VC investors, LPs, and partners joined us this morning at the European Women in VC ⭐️ Annual Slush Breakfast ⭐️

Every year, this gathering reinforces how powerful our community can be when we collaborate across funds, corporates, LPs, and ecosystems. Slush brings global energy to the Nordics, and we bring together the people shaping the future of European tech.

Programme highlighted some of the most relevant themes in our industry:

🔹 US investors participation in European Market by Butterfly Ventures with Anette Nordvall and Tanya Horowitz: “US Investor sentiment on Investing in Europe"

Geopolitical and macroeconomic shifts are prompting US family offices and institutions to diversify beyond traditional US private markets. They are increasingly seeking exposure to DeepTech, AI, and ClimateTech, areas where Europe is competitive, credible, and increasingly leading.

🔹 LP–GP Alignment by Adara Ventures with Rocio Pillado: “What Best-in-Class Transparency Looks Like in 2025”

A timely discussion as the industry resets expectations around governance, communication, and true partnership between LPs and GPs. Transparency is no longer optional - it is a competitive advantage.

🔹 Liquidity Crunch & Secondaries by Roschier with Kiira Tuohimaa-Leisio: “Can Secondaries Bridge the Gap?”

With extended exit timelines and the rapid growth of the asset class, liquidity pressure is being felt by both GPs and LPs. Secondaries can help but come with complexities. The roundtable explored these dynamics from GP, LP, and company perspectives. We also touched on the growing global interest in Europe:

What made this breakfast exceptional was the wonderful collaboration between all speakers, partners, and attendees. The commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive European innovation ecosystem is real and it is growing.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. 💙 See you next year. Bigger, bolder, and even more aligned.
