Empowering European Women in Venture Capital

European Women In VC fosters diversity and innovation through strategic collaborations, diverse funding opportunities, and continuous knowledge sharing, empowering female-led funds across Europe.

Primary focus on venture capital

European Women In VC places a primary focus on Venture Capital right from its inception. It has been a bottom up initiative by 16 female GPs from different EU countries.

Funds of varying size and scope

We welcome funds of varying sizes and scopes, including micro funds and those managed by emerging leaders in the field. (Our members are from solo GPs and nano funds of EUR 20m in size to growth funds with AUM of over EUR 1 billion, usually on funds 1 to 3).

Weekly Meet the LP calls

The core mission is to disrupt the status quo by fostering asset allocation to female (co)led funds and building LP/GP relationships, so that women can fundraise faster and from a larger LP base - via weekly meet the LP meeting online. (already held over 50 such meetings)

Connecting women from different parts of Europe

Our organization is genuinely pan-European and centralized, embodying the values of free human capital and ideas flow. We excel in connecting women from diverse parts of Europe, fostering synergies, and promoting diversity on both cross-cultural and regional levels. Every month via LUNCH & LEARN online sessions we share concrete experiences eg. How to do a First Close in todays market or How to build a CVC career.

We proudly collaborate with esteemed European Institutions such as EIF, EIB, EIT, receive support from two European commissioners, and collaborate with several public fund of funds (eg. Tesi, Bpifrance, EIFO. PFR Ventures) - engaging in high level policy dialogue.
