HOI sweet HOI 💚

We’re back in 🇫🇮 Helsinki and couldn’t be happier to kick off SLUSH week together with the wonderful House of Impact (The Impact Office (TIO)).

The day started with warm welcome words from Anna Herlin, Risto Väyrynen and Adela VILLANUEVA, it was great to reconnect again this year!

Later that day, our Managing Director, Kasia Piasecki together with Jonna Ryhänen, CIO at Elo discussed: “The Untapped Power of Pension Funds: Driving 70% of the SDGs with 1%” highlighting key insights from the joint European Women in VC, Venture Connections and Pensions for Purpose report “Mapping Pension Funds’ Attitudes: Venture & Growth in Europe.”

On day 2 of House of Impact.

Kasia Piasecki led a session on “Dare the Matriarchal Model: From Family to Family Business & Family Office.”

Women shape families, yet too often are absent in family offices and businesses. This session asked the tough questions: Where are the women in these structures? And what needs to change so their leadership and perspective are fully reflected?

Thank you to everyone who joined the session. It was a wonderful two days at HOI, inspiring as always. Adela, Risto and the whole team once again created a space for genuine connection so much needed in today's fast paced world. Thank you for having us!
