Gender Gap project and TheVentureCity Summit in Madrid

In June we were part of to great events: the Gender Gap in Investments workshop and TheVentureCity Summit in Madrid.

At the Gender Gap in Investments event - a pilot project of the European Parliament managed by European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) - Kasia Piasecki moderated a panel discussion on Strengthening Europe’s Competitiveness: The EU’s Roadmap to Closing the Gender Investment Gap in Innovation and Deep-Tech. She was joined by an inspiring lineup of panelists:

- Lina Gálvez, Member of the European Parliament
- Laura González-Estéfani, Managing Partner, TheVentureCity
- Sonia Fernandez, Partner, Kibo Ventures

‍All of this took place in the stunning Palacio Linares in Madrid.The following day, we attended the fantastic

TheVentureCity Summit organized by our member Laura González-Estéfani and the great TheVentureCity team. The theme was “Food for Thoughts” - quite literally! Conversations ranged from Michelin-starred chefs to AI, longevity (there’s still so much to learn, especially when it comes to women’s health, which continues to be underserved), and much more.
